One exact-address search, no outside lookups

Paste a wallet address and DefenceCore checks for an exact record in its internal Firebase wallet intelligence collection. The screening endpoint has no blockchain client and no third-party enrichment step, so a result reflects only what is already in the DefenceCore database.

What a database match can show

A reviewed record can identify the chain, an attributed entity or entity type when known, analyst labels, a concise assessment, and stored risk context. Public results expose a limited, reviewed set of fields—not the underlying internal record.

How to interpret the result

A match is a lead for investigation, not a verdict. A flagged wallet may be directly tagged or several hops from a flagged cluster; proximity does not prove common control. A wallet that is not found may still carry risk that this database has not observed.

What does the crypto wallet screening tool search?

The tool searches DefenceCore’s own curated wallet intelligence database for the exact wallet address you submit. It does not query a blockchain, call an external wallet API, search the open web, or infer an identity from transaction activity.

Can this tool tell me who owns a crypto wallet?

Only when DefenceCore’s database already contains a reviewed attribution for that exact address. A database match may include an attributed entity, chain, labels, and risk context. If no reviewed attribution exists, the tool will not guess who controls the wallet.

What does “not found” mean?

Not found means the exact address is not currently present in DefenceCore’s wallet intelligence database. It does not mean the wallet is safe, legitimate, inactive, or unknown elsewhere. Absence from this database is not a clearance.

What does a flagged match mean?

Flagged means the stored record contains a reviewed risk indicator, such as a direct fraud tag or defined proximity to a flagged cluster. It is an investigative signal, not proof of ownership, intent, or criminal activity. Verify the evidence before acting.

Which wallet formats are supported?

The search accepts common EVM, Bitcoin, and base58-style wallet addresses. Matching is exact, except that 0x-prefixed EVM addresses are normalized to lowercase because their checksum casing does not change the underlying address.

Is the wallet address stored or shared with third parties?

The screening request is sent only to DefenceCore’s backend and checked against its Firebase wallet intelligence collection. The lookup does not send the address to a blockchain explorer or third-party data provider. Requests are rate-limited and monitored for abuse.
